
Liza DUNNING
Liza began as an ad agency copywriter, but quickly jumped ship to the ground floor of the startup world. She joined as the first hire at Scoutmob – a local discovery app and newsletter – developing the brand and building the content and editorial teams across 14 U.S. markets. In 2014, she joined Airbnb during the pivotal rebrand to help develop the growing brand's voice and community-driven content, winning multiple awards for creative campaigns in social and video. After 5 years at Airbnb, she began her own brand and content consultancy, helping early-stage startups establish their verbal identities and content. Her most recent clients include Slack, Glassdoor, GoFundMe, Apeel, Hopin, Viceroy Hotels ... and a lot of startups you haven't heard of yet, but hopefully will soon.
