Anthony Blasko is a documentary photographer based on the west coast. With a selective eye, Blasko captures authentic emotion and organic movement while allowing the subject and environment to tell the story.
Anthony shoots regularly for editorial publications such as The Atlantic, Interview Magazine, and Victory Journal. His selected commercial clients include Nike, Samsung, Adidas, Beats by Dre, Ford, and Converse.
Today we present Anthony’s recent collaboration with The Atlantic Magazine for its redesigned debut cover story: “The Miseducation of the American Boy.” Shot on location in Los Angeles and accompanied by Peggy Orenstein’s words, the body of work examines the cultural pressures and alarming perceptions of what it means to be a boy among male teens across the US, and “why we need to give them new and better models of masculinity. “
