In Studio Private’s second CGI collaboration with Freddie Webb and Joe Farley of Father Sound Design they let the sound duo intemperate our visual creation.
Studio Private’s basis for the project was to create a piece that feels truly original in it’s make of CG world. The story is hinged around an awakening of inanimate human form and sequences that arrive at constant surprise, elements that deconstruct and fracture in the scene giving something of the unexpected in its construct, unpredictable, disjointed and fleeting in its moments.
Originally inspired by the works of Kandinsky, Suprematism and Cubist art movements it had to have a distinct contrast to the first collaboration with Father which was very-much organic and flowing with visuals inspired by sound.
The end objective was to create a multi-layered study that is neither of object or human form. As a layered construct it’s a 3D take on the classic image repeat, reflection and motion trails of flash photography with finishing’s inspired by iconic luxury interior’s and retail environments.
