She joined INNOCEAN in 2011 as a freelance CGI Producer on the Hyundai business. Based upon her innovative Art Production/CGI knowledge, positive energy and team mentality, in 2012 Barb was promoted to lead the Art & CGI department. Barb has grown her team to evolve with the ever-changing world of advertising, helping the industry define and refine the Social advertising sector. She has worked alongside other agency Art Producers, photographer representatives and cost consultants to help structure this new area of content production and define the industry standards for compensation for these content creators. In the CGI sector, she is working with industry leaders to streamline the workflow for CGI asset generation.
Barb’s team is constantly striving to ensure INNOCEAN is putting its best foot forward in the industry to create quality, award winning artwork, but always working within client budget constraints. Barb’s team has been a part of numerous award-winning projects over the last 6 years, including: Elantra Driveway Decision Maker, US Open Creative w/ Rat Fink, The Walking Dead, NCAA Show your Loyalty, #BecauseFutbol and various other campaigns.
Barb began her career in Chicago working for Getty Images as a Regional Sales Manager and then transitioned into Art Production at Cramer Krasselt working on Hilton, Bosch and Corona. From there she moved to Foote, Cone and Belding and worked on award winning print campaigns for Gatorade, Coors, Kraft, Boeing, Kentucky Fried Chicken and SC Johnson.
Barb relocated to Los Angeles in 2003 to work as a New Business Associate for Jupiter Images. In 2005, she transitioned back into Art Production as the sole Art Producer at David & Goliath producing the Kia National print and brochure creative. She also covered all other agency accounts including Bacardi, Cazadores, Universal Hollywood, Universal Orlando, Anchor Blue Retail & Mammoth Mountain.
For a change of pace and as an effort to further grow in her profession, she took a hiatus in Art Production and worked as a Location Producer with Section9 Shoot Production. During her time on the production side of the business she produced photo shoots for various photographers and clients such as Subaru, Barclay Card, Infiniti, Mercedes & Nissan.
After her “self-imposed 3-year hiatus” from Art Production, Barb was eager to get back into Art Production and apply her knowledge of Location Production to her already vast Art Production skills, leading her to join INNOCEAN.
Barb graduated from Simpson College with a degree Marketing and minor in Sports Administration. She loves living the Southern California lifestyle and spends her weekends either at the beach or DIY projects at her home.
