questionnaire
1. What was your very first job?
I was 16, it was in a laminated card factory at Sophia Antipolis (south of France).
2. Please describe, in your own words, what your job is and what work it entails.
I'm Senior Art director at Chanel House. I'm constantly looking for new relevant concepts. Then, the big part of my work is to find the right image for each project and follow the production and post-production to control the consistency.
3. How did you discover that the creative world was right for you? Was there a time in your life that you credit to this discovery? Was there a train of events that brought you where you are today?
The very first revelation was with movie posters. I was stuck looking at all the details. They are the first contact with the spectator and must say enough to make you want to go see the film but not too much so as not to be disappointed.
4. In your constantly growing and expanding industry, how do you find inspiration to keep your work fresh, innovative and relevant?
Inspiration is not in one place. it's a puzzle where each piece is a fragment of memories, sensations and encounters. Then I must keep the eyes wide open on the creative world.
5. If you had to pick one piece of work or project that you are most proud of, more for the creative work and innovation rather than its recognition or industry "success," what would it be?
For many reasons : Over the moon : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yeC7hI7S7es
