1.) What was your very first job?

My very first job was Market Research assistant at Pepsico France. I was not a huge fan of figures but was so grateful to have been able to join such a company with renowned creative brands.

2.) Please describe, in your own words, what your job is and what work it entails.

I am the Head of Global Communications @fredericmalle that I had the opportunity to join 6 months ago. It is an amazing niche perfume brand that has created this ultra luxury segment with a high demanding approach towards perfume excellence. My role is to define the brand communications and image strategy, to shape bold PR/ influencers/ media/ digital/ social campaigns, to create efficient content to enrich story-telling, and to build relevant kpis on all touchpoints.

3.) How did you discover that the creative world was right for you? Was there a time in your life that you credit to this discovery? What was there train of events that brought you to where you are today?

After a decade in marketing, I had the opportunity to join the Communication and Artistic Department at the Dim Group. In that role, I have started to work with talented advertising agencies such as Publicis and I started to be really passionate about Creation, photo and film shooting, story-telling. In this role, I was in contact with wonderful people such from artistic directors, photographers, art buying... I learnt a lot from them and knew that Communication and image were meant to be my new motto.

4.) In your constantly growing and expanding industry, how do you find inspiration to keep your work fresh, innovative and relevant?

The inspiration comes from everywhere. Today, we are surrounded by images so our eyes become educated to go fast and select what will bring an instinctive emotion. Instagram is definitely a source of inspiration where I follow a mix of photographers, artists, brands, media... but words matter too. So I also love to pause, take time reading a book, go to an exhibition, and go far from our Fashion and Beauty industry and be immersed in other cultural fields and trends to refresh my mind and explore new possibilities. Today, I have also the incredible chance to work directly with Frederic Malle, the Founder of Editions de Parfums, who is a true visionary, and a creative entrepreneur. Working closely with a game changer is also very challenging and inspiring!

5.) If you had to pick one piece of work or project that you are most proud of, more for the creative work and innovation it required, rather than its recognition or industry “success,” what would it be?

I had the opportunity to work on so many beautiful brands that it is not easy to say the one I am the most proud of. So, I would pick up 2. The collaboration between Wonderbra and Dita Von Teese because it was the first time she created a capsule collection for a lingerie brand and that has been an amazing encounter and a beautiful artistic project with @alimahdavi and @agitateursgraphiques. And also more recently the perfume launch of Obsessed by Calvin Klein, because it was linked to the campaign revival of Obsession with Kate Moss and Mario Sorrenti who have accepted to talk again about their passionate love story they had 15 years ago.

6.) What social media artist/account are you most influenced by?

I am following so many. It is hard to say which one influenced me the most. But one I particularly admired is @JR for the multifaceted artist creating artistic emotions in so many ways (photos, happening, installation, video...).

7.) Which creative disciplines do you commission most, and are most interested in seeing more of? (ie photo, film, social, experiential, vr, etc)

I am eclectic in my choices but photo is definitely what I can’t live without.
