Patricia Buffa is the Head of Digital Communications at Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris. In her role she oversees the Fondation’s website http://www.fondationlouisvuitton.fr, social media, You-Tube channel and email campaigns. Her current projects include the redesign of the FLV website and the development of an AI powered chatbot connected with the Facebook Messenger app. Prior to joining the French institution in December 2015, Patricia worked at the Museum of Modern Art (New York) in the International Program department, where she coordinated the research activities of C-MAP (Contemporary and Mondern Art Perpectives), an initiative intended to broaden MoMA’s study and presentation of art from Asia, Central & Eastern Europe, and Latin America. Her purview included managing MoMA’s subsite http://post.at.moma.org , and developing related marketing and social media activities. Previously, Patricia was a news editor for America 24, the American unit of the 24 ORE media group, and a contributor to several Italian publications, including Flash Art, Il Sole 24 Ore and La Repubblica. She also served as an international press officer for MAXXI museum in Rome, and as a project manager for the publishing company Mondadori Electa in Naples, where she coordinated the organization of six international exhibitions and the production of their catalogues. Patricia has a background in journalism, digital publishing and art management. She holds a BS degree in art administration from Bocconi University in Milan. She also studied at Science Po in Paris, and later received a MS magna cum laude in economics and management of arts and media from Bocconi University in Milan.
