Fashion industry insider and creative force Jason Basmajian's career trajectory has propelled him forward from Calvin Klein and Donna Karan in New York to ST Dupont in Paris and Brioni in Milan to name a few. Always working within the realm of luxury, Basmajian manages to balance the demanding task of being a Creative Director with a strong commitment to business and moving a brand into new markets whilst cultivating an existing client base. Moving from a three year successful appointment as Chief Creative Officer of Gieves and Hawkes and six years as Artistic Director of Brioni, Basmajian is currently Chief Creative Officer of Cerruti 1881 since 2015. He has been credited with bringing the house back to it's core DNA while reinvigorating and energizing the brand.
Currently overseeing all design, communications and image, he is known for building a coherent, overall brand vision, strong managerial skills and a modern eye for bringing heritage brands forward. He has been referred to as a "brand visionary" and his influence extends beyond the world of fashion to include the realm of contemporary art, film and music. Always looking for opportunities to communicate more fully about the brand, he has collaborated as a guest lecturer with the London Business School, Parsons School on Design, Wired Retail Conference and the Royal College of Art.
