1. What was your very first job?
My first job was as an intern at TBWA Amsterdam. I was a Miami Ad School art director student by the time. Being able to experience a real agency with real jobs was a mind blowing experience.
2. Please describe in your own words, what your job is and what work it entails.
Today, I'm responsible to oversee the creative work for Ford Latam. From experimental to digital, helping to push the brand forward into innovative thinking. The type of work we have been building not only help increase business results, but also make impact in humans' lives.
3. How did you discover that the creative world was right for you? Was there a time in your life that you credit to this discovery? Was there a train of events that brought you where you are today?
As a kid, I always loved to draw. Arts was embedded into my life since the beginning. Posters and Visual arts in general always captivated myself. Directing myself into advertising come when I was about to enter college.
4. In your constantly growing and expanding industry, how do you find inspiration to keep your work fresh, innovative and relevant?
Humans, that is my sort of inspiration. I believe we are the most amazing type of resource. Understanding how we create culture and connect with others.
5. If you had to pick one piece of work or project that you are most proud of, more for the creative work and innovation rather than its recognition or industry "success," what would it be?
"Accessibly Mat" for Ford Motor Company. It's a piece of innovation that can make real impact into people's lives.
6. Which creative disciplines do you commission most, and are most interested in seeing more of and why? Which of these disciplines are you most interested in seeing at CONNECTIONS? (ie photo, film, production, social, experiential, vr, cgi, animation etc)
Experimental is the one that usually motivates me a lot.
