Tony Ambroza is the chief brand officer (CBO) at Carhartt, Inc. In this role, Tony leads brand engagement across the entire consumer journey at critical touch points including TV commercials, social media, events, retail marketing, Carhartt’s direct-to-consumer (D2C) business, and beyond to build an even deeper affinity between consumers and the Carhartt brand.
As CBO, Tony continues to scale the brand’s reach by championing Carhartt’s meaning, purpose, and values while fiercely preserving its storied heritage. Under his leadership, the fast-growing D2C business continues to deliver the ultimate brand experience to hardworking people by creating seamless, inspiring engagements between Carhartt, the products, and the people that matter most to the brand: its consumers. On the marketing side, Tony will continue to amplify Carhartt’s celebration of hard work and the brand’s role in the lives of hardworking people all over the world by sharing theirCarhartt experiences.
Tony joined Carhartt in October 2010 as the vice president of marketing with a strong background in the apparel industry, extensive retail partnership experience, and a visionary approach to brand management. He was promoted to senior vice president (SVP) of marketing in 2014, and since joining the company, the marketing team has grown brand awareness and affinity to record heights.
