Julie is a seasoned Creative Director with years of experience working with agencies and brands, leading global creative work that tells great stories and showcases culture in a way that’s human, memorable, unexpected. From launching brands in new markets to reinventing old ones to be relevant again, she’s led campaigns for global, US and Asia markets, in the form of integrated marketing, broadcast, branded environments, experiential retail, and documentary films.
Most recently at Deutsch LA and KBS NY, Julie oversaw a range of campaigns for Target, ABC, Keds, HomeGoods, Monster, BluePrint Juice, and Save the Children.
Prior to that, she spent 6 years in Shanghai, at Wieden + Kennedy, leading iconic campaigns, collaborating with artists, musicians, athletes, and film-makers across Asia, to create unique brand stories for Converse, Nike, and P&G. She also spent a year opening the Love Creative Shanghai office, creating culturally inspiring work for Johnnie Walker, most notably the Johnnie Walker House in Seoul – a high-end, fully immersive, experiential retail space.
Before Shanghai, she started her career in SF with SYPartners and Red Sky Interactive, where she honed her strategic thinking, knack for telling brand stories, and foundation in digital, on brands like Gap, IBM, Apple, Coca-Cola, and Miller.
