questionnaire
1. What was your very first job? What does it feel like to look back at it now?
My very first job was working in a boutique while studying. Back then I thought every Saturday: damn it – working all day! Today I think: it was a great time.
2. Please describe, in your own words, what your current job is and what work it entails.
I’m CCO of Grey Germany and so I’m responsible for the whole creative output of the agency.
3. How did you discover that the creative world is right for you? Was there a time in your life that you credit to this discovery? Which train of events did bring you to where you are today?
It was a coincidence: After studying I worked in a film production company, but I missed writing. So friends said: why don’t you go to an advertising agency? I thought: lets try it. And I started at Springer & Jacoby in Hamburg. It was Love at first sight.
4. In your constantly growing and expanding industry, how and where do you usually find inspiration to keep your work fresh, innovative and relevant?
I’m trying to keep my mind open. I’m traveling, reading and always trying to meet new, interesting people.
5. If you had to pick one piece of work or project that you are most proud of, more for the creative work and innovation it required, rather than its recognition or industry “success,” what would it be?
I love our facebook live show with Joko & Klaas for the limo, where People could call and talk with them. It was spontaneous. Crazy. Not scripted. The server broke together several times. But most of all it was great fun for everyone involved! Even the client.
6. Which creative disciplines do you commission most, and are most interested in seeing more of and why? (ie photo, film, social, experiential, vr, etc)
Everything to be honest that drives creativity further
