Juan Carlos FERRER
Juan Carlos “JC” Ferrer began his advertising career at Grey Puerto Rico, where he combined creativity and strategy for a variety of brands, including Dish, Energizer, GSK, Mazda, P&G, and RadioShack.
After leaving Grey, JC worked as a New Business Creative Consultant at top shops in Puerto Rico, including Havas, DDB Latina, Sajo McCann, Badillo Saatchi & Saatchi, and Oneighty FCB.
Recognized for his creativity and strong leadership, JC had the honor of representing Puerto Rico at both the 2015 Young Lions Competition in Cannes and the 2016 FIAP Festival in Mexico City.
JC has been recognized with numerous awards for his work throughout his 14-year career, including Cúspide, Clio, New York Festivals, and Cannes Lions. He was part of the team responsible for Grey Puerto Rico’s first Lion at Cannes for “Hidden Messages,” a campaign designed to help victims of domestic violence.
One of JC’s many passions is teaching. This passion led him to work as a Professor of Design at Turabo University (Universidad del Turabo) in Gurabo, Puerto Rico.
In 2017, JC moved to New York City, where he led creative campaigns in the entertainment, healthcare, and sports segments at agencies such as PMKBNC, Area 23, Octagon, M+A, and McCann Worldgroup, where he currently works as Associate Creative Director across multiple brands and projects.
JC holds a BA in Digital Graphic Design from Atlantic University College in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico.
