What was your very first job?
Art Director at Grey Chile.
Please describe, in your own words, what your job is and what work it entails.
As executive creative director my big responsibilities are inspire, mentor, solve problems, having a point of view and raise the bar of our creative product as an agency.
How did you discover that the creative world was right for you? Was there a time in your life that you credit to this discovery? Was there a train of events that brought you where you are today?
When I was a kid, I liked to create stories. I used to draw characters and comic books imagining Aliens; adventures from outer space. Growing up, I started to write songs with my guitar, but as we can imagine never made it into the billboard.
In your constantly growing and expanding industry, how do you find inspiration to keep your work fresh, innovative and relevant?
A lot of social media, youtube, films, and music. Inspiration happens between the crossover of these different outlets. I always question things, and try to understand the logic and the reason why they get done a certain way, and why something is considered good or not.
If you had to pick one piece of work or project that you are most proud of, more for the creative work and innovation rather than its recognition or industry what would it be?
The Clean Braille. It was an initiative that helped visually impaired people to get sanitized their hands while reading braille signs. These days, with a pandemic around I think it’s even more relevant than years ago when it was produced.
Which creative disciplines do you commission most, and are most interested in seeing more of and why? Which of these disciplines are you most interested in seeing at CONNECTIONS? (ie photo,
film, production, social, experiential, vr, cgi, animation etc).
CGI, animation and film production.
