
Lina Maria RIVERO
Lina María studied Advertising and Marketing at the Politécnico Grancolombiano. She has more than 14 years of experience in the advertising industry, with a professional focus towards creative strategic planning. Currently, she is the Chief Strategy Officer Latam and lead the product development team in Colombia.
Previously, she worked for Initiative as Strategic Director for Unilever - Middle Americas Region.
Additionally, she worked for important brands such as Claro, KIA Motors, Bavaria (AbInBev), Danone, Kimberly Clark, among others.
She is part of the new wave of advertisers that recognize the potential to create integral experiences and content; therefore, she has obtained awards at the Media Festival of Valencia, The Festival of Media LatAm, Effie Awards and The Internationalist Awards for Innovation in Media. Lina states that none of the above has been a personal achievement, all of the awards have been the fortunate result of working with the best creative team.
She has been jury in several festivals of advertising; Shortlist Jury at FOM Global 2016, Jury of Young Lions Colombia 2016; Jury at FIP 2017, Jury of Young Lions Colombia 2018, Shortlist Jury at Cannes 2018; Jury of Content in FOM Global 2019, besides being speaker and academic teacher at the Politecnico Grancolombiano and is part of the academic committee.
