Chief Marketing Officer | MOLESKINE

Roberto Lobetti Bodoni is currently Chief Marketing Officer (Global) for Moleskine.

Following two brief professional experiences with Accenture and Bosch Italia, Roberto followed his passion for consumer behavior and marketing as he began his career in 2001 with L’Oréal.  During his time with the French company, he worked his way up through a variety of marketing and sales roles within L’Oréal Paris division.   

He then went on to work in sports marketing with Juventus, before joining Beiersdorf in 2006 to launch a new product category. His responsibilities grew over the following years to include new business and contributing to the development of new international innovation platforms.

In 2010, Roberto joined Sky Italia as Head of Brand Development. In this role he followed a key rebranding project which, thanks to a new equity model and communication platform, had a direct and positive impact on business growth.

Throughout his time at Sky Italia, his professional experience grew to include advertising and production – eventually resulting in his promotion to Head of Entertainment Marketing.  

Towards the end of 2017, Roberto joined Moleskine as Chief Marketing Officer. He continues to increase the company’s growth by building a global marketing model able to reach a wider audience through new product categories, channels and regions.

Roberto has been on the board of directors of Moleskine Digital Studio since October 2019.

Furthermore, he is on the Forbes’ second CMO Next List 2019, an international list of 50 CMOs who are redefining the role. 

Roberto was asked to provide a definition of the word “brand” for the Zanichelli Italian language dictionary.
