In 1991 Constanza left Buenos Aires and arrived in Mexico City where she founded CavalliCommunicacion, a communication, production and public relations agency and was one of the founder of Fashion Week Mexico. In 2006 she moves to Milan where she created the first edition of Fashion Film Festival Milano in 2014. The Festival is an international event where Fashion Films from all over the world are showcased during the Milan Women Fashion Week in September, it soon became an institution and a referent point within the Fashion Industry. The contest has fifteen different categories and a prestigious worldwide Jury. She developed the #FFFMilanoForWomen and #FFFMilanoForGreen projects to support female talent and sustainable worldwide fashion. In 2016 FFFMilano and VOGUE ITALIA joined forces and created an important project called "Through My Eyes” to support upcoming international talents every year. In October 2017 Constanza launched EYESOPHY, a creative hub specialized in Fashion and Lifestyle Filmmaking. In 2018 she received the MCFW Fashion Award - Culture 2018 for her contribute to the Fashion World and her support to young talents, given by the Monaco Fashion Chamber and Monaco’s Prime Minister.  -


1. What was your very first job?

When I was 17 I opened a fashion store called Aleika in a “centro comercial”in Buenos Aires, with friends' designs in consignment. It lasted three weeks, it was summer holidays , the city was empty and I sold only a pair of earings. I had fun, had the opportunity and took right away, I always wanted to challenge myself.

2. Please describe, in your own words, what your job is and what work it entails.

Directing the FFFMilano means to keep on researching for new talents all over the world, in order to promote them, look for new material and trends. Creating projects that can represent the way we see the world and the principles we want to support.  

3. How did you discover that the creative world was right for you? Was there a time in your life that you credit to this discovery? What were the train of events that brought you to where you are today?

I think that, when you are a teenager and instead of going on holidays you prefer to stay in town and do your own project, that means something. Since I can remember I love to do things, to create, to connect the dots till a beautiful figure comes out.

4. In your constantly growing and expanding industry, how do you find inspiration to keep your work fresh, innovative and relevant?

I found inspiration by staying curious, open, positive…and the most important thing, stay true to yourself, that energy will give a very personal touch to everything you do. I love to do research, travel, and listen to what others have to say.. and never never give up.

5. If you had to pick one piece of work or project that you are most proud of, more for the creative work and innovation it required, rather than its recognition or industry “success,” what would it be?

I can say that the FFFMilano is the project in which I really feel I gave my heart to and feel deeply proud. I always have in mind to create an event that can be accessible for everyone and at the same time with the highest standarts of quality.  I put all my energy and strength to create a reality to discover, support and promote young international talents and at the same time develop two special projects close to my heart:  FFFMilanoForWomen and FFFMilanoForGreen. Doing a 100 % free, six-day festival with 200 fashion films, conversations, special screening and round tables, where everyone can have the opportunity to participate; is no joke at all!
