India is not, as people keep calling it, an underdeveloped country, but rather, in the context of its history and cultural heritage, a highly developed one in an advanced state of decay. In Stefan Dotter’s ongoing works he documents the traces of lost
excellency and find the places where it gets revived. This part of his series takes us to Jaipur, Pushkar and Jodhpur where he has been working with local communities on sustainable artisanal fashion projects. The clothes shown in the pictures
are entirely made in the village of Bhikamkor in Rajasthan.
