Léo Séraphin presents in an exclusive preview the trailer of his short film “ENTRETIEN” made for the Opéra de Paris 3ème Scène. In this film Léo sets Paris in a dystopian future where human beings have disappeared to be replaced by robots. The robot in charge of the Opéra Garnier maintenance reveals his conscience of the missing humanity. The only possible contact he can have with humanity is via the films archives medium. Leo transports us to a world where all creativeness has been killed, where the emotion displayed by the virtuosity of a ballerina can only be a souvenir. Léo’s learning process was inspired by comics, art and movies. The technical skills used for this film represent the main aspect of his work. Léo’s images are characterized by the use of real actors in three-dimensional sets or the integration of CGI characters into real settings. He develops an aestheticism and emotion that belong only to him. He plays with the contrast between reality and fiction, thus creating his very own world. He calls them «five-D» movies. “Five D” like the name of the first camera he borrowed to take pictures, and the fifth dimension: the addition of the 2D real world to the 3 Dimensional standout world.
