He stepped into advertising as a copywriter while working on his thesis on the american movies and the effects on the audience. Meanwhile he worked as “sound designer” for some local radios, racing with motorbikes and drumming with his band. He moved to USA to work in New York and San Francisco where he was struck by the web. Therefore, he went back to Italy and joined a multimedia master to learn some stuff. He then founded EggAge, an online communication agency and later on he entered Quam, one of the biggest Italian web agency, as Vice President of Creative. Quam joined the Nurun Inc network where he became Strategic Creative Director managing a team of 40 people. In 2003, he founded Dodicitrenta, a digital communication agency with a vertical focus on fashion and luxury with clients such as Gucci, Aspesi, Casadei, Iceberg, Fay, Frankie Morello, Pomellato, Vogue Italia, Italia Independent, Calzedonia. In 2013, Dodicitrenta was merged with Now Available and The Big Now came to life. He is in charge of Low, un creative unit with vertical skills on beauty, fashion and luxury. Some of the clients are Fendi, Gucci, Coty, Acqua di Parma, Nyx, Philippe Model, Marco De Vincenzo, Kiko. No more drumming but still a lot of motorbikes…


1. What was your very first job?

My first job was a lot of different jobs. Then one day a very good friend of mine told me I could earn some good money by simply using my creativity.

2. Please describe, in your own words, what your job is and what work it entails.

Every day me and my team try to create something relevant for our clients. Something both we and the client can be proud of. It’s not an easy job but we try harder every single day.

3. How did you discover that the creative world was right for you? Was there a time in your life that you credit to this discovery? What was there train of events that brought you to where you are today?

It was the only way to live my life. I grew up thinking of me as a drummer, a writer, a designer. I’ve never thought I could became an artist but I knew from the beginning I could not work a 9 to 5 work routine.

4. In your constantly growing and expanding industry, how do you find inspiration to keep your work fresh, innovative and relevant?

Curiosity is key. Besides working with young people, watching my kids playing, reading as much as I can. I’m literally obsessed with knowledge. I have to know more than my clients in order to surprise them.

5. If you had to pick one piece of work or project that you are most proud of, more for the creative work and innovation it required, rather than its recognition or industry “success,” what would it be?

I tend to get bored of things quickly. The next one is gonna be my favorite. At least for a week.
