James Eby is currently the Chief Creative Officer at The Marketing Store integrated with DDB - We Are Unlimited (Chicago) leading the McDonald's Restaurant Experience team. He manages a 40+ cross functional creative department directing campaign content for both digital and print, including menu boards, restaurant merchandising, packaging and experiential.
Prior to that, Eby was Chief Creative Officer at agenz, a boutique agency that he helped to launch. The agency was developed through a partnership with Tukaiz, a Marketing Services Production Company. Eby managed clients strategic planning and creative development through execution in print design, tv, radio, digital media, websites, social and experiential marketing.
Clients: Coca-Cola, Arby’s, Taco Bell, Wingstop, Church’s Chicken, Frito Lay, State Farm.
Eby worked at Wunderman3 for nearly 20 years as an Executive Creative Director and was later named Senior Vice President. In this role, he led a 30+ creative and studio team with agency billings averaging over $20 million annually. He was the creative leader and visionary, responsible for all day-to-day creative planning, execution and implementation of advertising, consumer promotions, retail programing and event activation.
