Oliver is Unit Creative Director at Kolle Rebbe in Hamburg, where he works for clients such as Audi, TUI Cruises and Hansgrohe.
Born in Karlsruhe, Germany in 1974, Oliver studied media and communication economics before beginning his career as a copywriter at D'Arcy Hamburg in 2000. After winning his first awards for BURGER KING, he moved to the agency Philipp und Keuntje in 2001. There, he worked for clients such as Yellow Pages, Tetra Pak, Audi and Lamborghini. During this time, he won several international awards, including Cannes, Cresta, Epica, Clio, Montreux, Red Dot and the German ADC.
In 2004, his wedding guests were invited to choose the surname of the bridal couple. Since then, Oliver was „forced“ to change his name from Gill to Ramm. From 2008 to 2012, the newly styled Oliver Ramm worked as a freelance creative director at many reputable agencies for clients such as Axe, Volkswagen, IKEA, Porsche and Lufthansa – and would take home additional awards for his efforts.
The personal highlight of his career, however, is not an award, but the TVC "People are People" for the VW Golf, in which his childhood idol, Depeche Mode frontman Dave Gahan, plays along. He developed the script as freelancer with the agency Grabarz & Partner. Oliver is member of the German Art Directors Club. He lives together with his wife and two sons near Hamburg.
