1. What was your very first job? I consider my very first job the one that allowed me to deep dive into my passion for Brands. I was in JWT, as junior strategist, working hard for a little Italian brand: Ai.Bi. an association dedicated to children in need, in particular for abandoned children.

2. Please describe, in your own words, what your job is and what work it entails. I am In charge of all the Global Communication programs of the Company, leading a cross functional team of 15 internal specialists (my PUPA Team) and external agencies including content production, analytics,  social media, advertising, media, PR/ Digital PR, Brand experience.

3. How did you discover that the creative world was right for you? First of all, I have to premise a very simple truth about me: I am curious, I love travelling, reading, cooking, drinking and meeting new people. In one word: I am hungry for life. And when I was young, I understood that this field would allow me to work with interesting folk across various creative disciplines around the world and nurture my crazy side. Was there a time in your life that you credit to this discovery? What was there train of events that brought you to where you are today? I would say a good mix of my willpower and determination combined with a bit of luck.

4. In your constantly growing and expanding industry, how do you find inspiration to keep your work fresh, innovative and relevant? First of all, I keep on embracing challenges and also failure. I always think that Innovation requires taking a certain level of risk, outside the comfort zone. That’s why I try to expose myself and my team to open innovation and train in lateral thinking, on every aspect of our jobs and I should say, life.  “Stay hungry, stay foolish” is my mantra.

5.    If you had to pick one piece of work or project that you are most proud of, more for the creative work and innovation it required, rather than its recognition or industry “success,” what would it be? There are many projects that I am fond of. I would say Magnum 5 Senses, a surprising and successful project that has broken the mould in the food mkt, both on the product, pack and  communication side. Recently, for the same reason, I would like to highlight the project for PUPA Christmas 2020. But the best is …yet to come.
