Tobi “Tobi Shinobi” Shonibare is an award winning multifaceted creative, based between London and Chicago. Tobi’s international reputation and keen work ethic resulted in him being headhunted to work as Senior Content Creator in an award-winning, fully integrated, creative agency, in one of the largest global advertising and communications groups. His work with Moen won “Audience Choice Award for Best Images.” His creative concepts and push to empower others was also the main focus behind the Off the Street Club’s charity fund raising initiative for 2019 raising in excess of $500,000, teaching children how to share their perspectives through photography.
Whilst his creative journey was reinvigorated by a love of photography, he has gone beyond stills to include motion and filmmaking, working both in front and behind the camera, becoming the Head of Social Media for Healthcare Tech Company and most recently a Creative Strategist for TikTok.
Verified on a number of platforms he has an excess of 200,000 combined followers. On these platforms, he showcases his specialization in finding beauty in often gritty urban landscapes. His distinctive focus on detail, perspective, geometry, and symmetry allows for appreciation for architecture. His passion to push creative boundaries has led to many collaborations with brands like Adidas and Nike and long term Ambassadorships with Adobe and Sony, fronting major campaigns for both in 2020.
His love for creating and storytelling has led to his starring in an award winning documentary, “I Take Photos” and his first solo photo book, Equilibrium, is available now.
