Anne Levy has been working in creative and strategic concepting for Projektbüro Friedrich von Borries. At the intersection of curatorial and narratives, art and theory, she has conceived, among other projects works for Arte / Arte Creative, Suhrkamp, and ZDF. Furthermore she has been developing exhibitions like 'Realität und Fiktion' Villa Schöningen, Potsdam, Design on Display‘ (Volkswagen, Autostadt) and 'Mensch Raum Maschine‘ for Bauhaus Dessau. Since 2015 ANDREAS MURKUDIS’s brand and communication strategy is presented under the responsibility of Anne Levy.

What was your very first job?

My very first job was working as a bike courier.

 

Please describe, in your own words, what your job is and what work it entails?

I face situations and products that are most of the time new on the market. I am a creator of desire, but all I do is translate it to an audience who didn’t know that they were ready for it.

 

How did you discover that the creative world was right for you? Was there a time in your life that you credit to this discovery? What was there train of events that brought you to where you are today?

I never had a fixed plan. I was a creative as a response to limited resources since when I was a child.  I’ve always been fascinated by how people senses are stimulated. As every creative, I have undertaken and explored at least one of the senses. I used to be a contemporary dancer and then got into image science– this is here it all started and only from the outside, it's about visuals. The common gaze of the perceiver is way beyond image- because it's in between the relation to movement and space- as an emotion that has to be daring. It's sometimes difficult but beautiful.

 

In your constantly growing and expanding industry, how do you find inspiration to keep your work fresh, innovative and relevant?

I create from inside me and start at with the body.  I don't scroll other people's feeds- the feeds of the other are irrelevant, what is important is ungoogleable feelings, and this I trust to create.

 

If you had to pick one piece of work or project that you are most proud of, more for the creative work and innovation it required, rather than its recognition or industry “success,” what would it be? 

I worked on a brand which was meant to hack the luxury industry and revolution. It was a projected that made revolution a gamification of a brand in order to finance the same.  A back then so-called transmedia project. Its name was RLF. It was a brand, a book, a movie, a revolutionary movement. We had worked for more than 2 years on the concepts, and I still think it is very contemporary and was probably the most complex 360 brand and campaign I can imagine.
