Cornel VAN BUUREN
I have been working in media in the netherlands, Amsterdam for the last 20 years. My introduction in media I had when I started working for Televison (RTL) on the sponsoring/branded content department where I was responsible for finding and assisting sponsors of Television formats. After that I worked in sales jobs for Talpa Radio, CBS Outdoor and Het Parool (the Amsterdam Newspaper, part of De Persgroep). After an intermezzo at BNR Radio/Financieel Dagblad (Dutch FT) I returned to Het Parool as Marketing Manager, where I had the honor to launch a new brand identity of a totally restyled newspaper. Last two years Het Parool won both the European and Worldwide award of “Best Designed Newspaper”. Momentarily I am Leadmanager of all Dutch newspapers De Persgroep owns. In practice this means I am in the lead of all mayor360 degrees (media/marketing) campaigns De Persgroeps launches.
