More than 20 years in marketing and communication in various industries. Last 15 years as a manager in fashion and design companies like Gas Jeans, Alberto del Biondi and LIUJO. My last 10 years have been dedicated to LIUJO as Chief Global Marketing and Communication Officer driving the strategies worldwide helping the company to grow from 140 M to 320 M euros with ideas, organization, passion and consistency. I had the pleasure to work with such great talents worldwide like models Kate Moss, Karlie Kloss, Jourdan Dunn, Joan Smalls or photographers like Mario Sorrenti, Chris Colls, Christian Mac Donald, Alexi Lubomirsky and creative agencies like Spring London, Wednesday London, Ruini Studio and Klein Russo. Since January 2018 I started my own advisory company The Hitch Lab to help fashion and luxury companies to become or staying relevant in their business leveraging their brand appeal towards consumers. Among my clients,there’s Pinko for whom I’m advisoring heading marketing and communication strategies on a global scale.

1. What was your very first job?

At 18, working during summer in a motel laundry to pay my first trip to New York.  It was worth it.

2. Please describe, in your own words, what your job is and what work it entails.

I’m helping fashion and luxury companies to become or staying relevant in their business throughout solutions able to make the brand being always attractive.

3. How did you discover that the creative world was right for you? Was there a time in your life that you credit to this discovery? What was there train of events that brought you to where you are today?

I was younger. I had two opportunities on my desk. Same city, new company, commercial job. easy choice. Different city, new company, communication job, hard choice. I chose the second one and started working with very talented people in the communication and adv industry. It was love at first sight. After that, I grew up as a manager in different Italian fashion companies challenging myself everyday in mixing marketing, communication and organization in order to let the brand grow up in consumers appeal. Since my first project as a client with Bates, a lot of cooperation with great creative agencies, talented creative directors, film directors, photographers worldwide has passed and enriched my professional experience since now. And I’m not tired yet…

4. In your constantly growing and expanding industry, how do you find inspiration to keep your work fresh, innovative and relevant?

It’s a mixture. I learn from my clients and their brands, from selected people around that are mentors for me and most of all from artists of all types and sport champion.

5. If you had to pick one piece of work or project that you are most proud of, more for the creative work and innovation it required, rather than its recognition or industry “success,” what would it be?

If you love your job, choosing just one project is very difficult. I could say convincing Kate Moss to be the global adv ambassador for LIUJO for 7 seasons (and shooting powerful and wonderful campaigns with amazing photographers and directors) and the trilogy of bottom-up jeans tv commercial with such great directors like Jason Harrington, Tony Kaye and Luca Maroni together with Klein Russo creative agency.
