In 2011 Shaheed joined Publicis LifeBrands as Executive Creative Director. The youngest ever at 31 years of age. 
His highlights at Publicis (so far) have been:
- Helped PLB to become the only health and wellness agency in the world to have their work celebrated at the world’s most prestigious consumer award shows - Cannes Lions, D&AD, Campaign BIG Awards, LeBook & Creative Circle (first healthcare agency in 68 years to win). 
- He founded ‘The Lab - A place for bright sparks’. An industry first initiative to help find talent (without a CV) into Publicis Health UK agencies. 
- Shaheed has had the agencies work celebrated at No.10 and No.11 Downing Street.  
- In his spare time he mentors various advertising schools and charities in London. He is also Founder of The Creative Floor Healthcare Awards. Which in 4 years has raised over £55,000.000 to help untapped talent and diversity into health and wellness communication  agencies across the world.

What was your very first job?
Washing dishes in a thai restaurant. My tolerance to chillies (as a result of pretty much being paid in food) is now on a level with a Jedi. 

Please describe, in your own words, what your job is and what work it entails.
I run the creative department at Publicis LifeBrands - http://publicislifebrands.com
Developing talent is pretty much my day-to-day focus. 

How did you discover that the creative world was right for you? Was there a time in your life that you credit to this discovery? What was there train of events that brought you to where you are today?
When I was 16 I was working in a pub (collecting glasses). Guinness Surfer come up on the TV.  The entire room went silent and was mesmerised for the entire 90 seconds. When I saw that, I thought - when I grow up I’d quite like to do a job like that.  

In your constantly growing and expanding industry, how do you find inspiration to keep your work fresh, innovative and relevant?
Well, I run http://thecreativefloor.com/awards  which is a great way to see what’s going on in the world. I don’t judge the awards but I get a chance to see all the entries. It’s a great way to see current trends and which countries are doing the best work right now. The awards raise a huge amount of money towards a Talent & Diversity Fund (£55,000 in 4 years) which helps talent from underprivileged backgrounds find work in agencies. I’ve recently started a podcast which is a lot of fun! I’m constantly inspired by the talent that I meet through The Creative Floor.  

If you had to pick one piece of work or project that you are most proud of, more for the creative work and innovation it required, rather than its recognition or industry “success,” what would it be?
I don’t do many briefs on my own anymore. But one that I took on this year is about to come out, which I’m really excited about. We’re working on an installation with Paul Cocksedge which will be exhibited from 1st September (for the whole month) in Paternoster Square - http://www.paternostersquare.info/ (next to St Pauls Cathedral, London). I won’t give too much away but look out for it. It’s going to be extraordinary and (fingers crossed) personally a creative highlight for me.
